Born in upstate NY, I've lived in and around NYC since 1999. Educated in the art of Engineering at TESC of Washington state, I started my career running Big Noise Studios (NYC), becoming Chief Engineer in 2001. I cut my teeth tracking and mixing Hip-Hop, House, Jazz and Rock records. When I was 26 I opened Binary Recording with a mission to be less expensive and faster than the big houses, while still delivering top quality services to my clients. Shortly thereafter I started mixing to picture for MTV, NBC, Sony and others. By 2005 it was clear I needed to be part of a larger organization to better serve my growing list of patrons. I joined Broadway Sound as a senior mix engineer and immediately began working for clients like Showtime and HBO. SNL became one of my biggest gigs soon after, mixing most of the "Best Of" DVDs, including complete analog audio restoration of the treasured first five years as well as working on the live show as the Film Unit mix engineer. In 2010 I Joined Sandblast Productions as a Senior Engineer with Showtime as my main client while retaining SNL and garnering Emmy Honors in 2014, 2016, 2017 and 2018. With Showtime as my principal client, I’ve added several Clio and Promax awards since then. In my spare time I build, ride, restore and ogle vintage choppers and enjoy life with my beautiful family.
